Veronica Fink – Mezzo-soprano

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Veronica was awarded scholarships to further her instruction with Aldo Baldin, Peter Elkus, Ernst Häfliger and Gérard Souzay. In the U.S.A., where she relocated with her family, she participated in numerous operatic concerts and oratorios. Invited to Slovenia, her parents’ homeland, Veronica was engaged as a roster singer by the Slovenian National Opera House and made her debut as Felice in Wolf-Ferrari’s “I quatro rusteghi”. Many other roles and engagements followed; specially noteworthy was her interpretation of the lead role in Debussy’s “Pelleas et Melisande”. She participated in numerous oratorio and lieder concerts throughout The Netherlands, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, Germany, Austria, Argentina and the US. Over the years, she has performed as a soloist with the Argentine National Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, Buenos Aires “Estudio Coral”, Greater Miami Opera, Florida International University Master Chorale, Ljubljana Opera, Slovenian Chamber Chorus, Miami Symphony Orchestra and Florida Grand Opera, and under the batons of Antonio M. Russo, Marko Letonja, Stewart Robertson and Theodor Guschlbauer, among others. Her recording engagements include several registers for the Slovenian National Radio, the recordings of “Musica Sacra Slovenica” , the oratorio “Resurrecturis”, Johann Strauss’ Gypsy Baron and an album of Christmas Carols together with her brother, Marcos Fink, and her sister Bernarda Fink, among others.
