A longtime employee of Dade County, Ken’s experience as a maintenance mechanic has been instrumental in ensuring quality events for Arts at St. Johns. He is also an active member of St. Johns on the Lake UMC as a member of the Chancel Choir. Ken also serves on the Doard of Directors of the South Florida Theatre Organ Society (SFTOS) and on the Board of Trustees for St. Johns on the Lake UMC.

Rianne is a Florida-based artist who specializes in drawing and illustration. She is a graduate of the Art Institute of Ft Lauderdale with an associate’s degree in graphic design. In the past Rianne has participated with Artist United in Ft Lauderdale for the annual Gay & Lesbian art show at Art Serve South Florida. Rianne also participates in an annual art show at Miami Beach City hall. Rianne’s work for Code Enforcement at the City of Miami Beach helps ASJ meet city codes on its events

Carla Mickley, Board Member

Originally from California, Carla attended Cerritos College in Norwalk, California to obtain a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Carla’s most recent position was for Miami Cerebral Palsy Home in south Miami-Dade County. Now retired, she volunteers tirelessly for the Miami Veterans Administration Hospital and is a member of the St. Johns Chancel Choir. Carla has been integral in bringing several vans of cerebral palsy patients in wheelchairs, walkers, and even in a stretcher to events at the Arts at St Johns.

Jenni Person has worked as an award-winning performer and director of several arts groups including the Loft Theatre in Tampa, FL, South Florida Art Center and Alternate ROOTS, a national artists’ organization based in Atlanta, GA. Additionally, Jenni and partner Chaim Lieber-Person, a Jewish educator, implement several informal and alternative Jewish education and community-building programs including the Sandbox community, Poetry as Prayer, Culinary Midrash, and Torah Tykes an alternative family Shabbat and holiday worship program with their own little kids, Goldi Shalom and Izzi Dov. Jenni is currently working on an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts at Goddard College.
